Remember Shane has shares in Golden Boy and Cotto doesn't have shares in Top Rank at the end of the day Shane will ultimately see more money from this fight down the track than Cotto. Mosley wouldn't isn't ******.

That was probably how they got the fight made offering Cotto that sort of money.

Sorry to admit man, they're ALL PUERTO RICAN ASSES, NO ONE ELSE'S!! I've been to Cotto fights before (Malignaggi, Zab) and all the non-Puerto Ricans were all adamant anti-Cotto fans that I saw. I'm not stirring ****, just calling em' as I see em. Mosley has a much more diversified fanbase (cause of his longer career) and I'd be pissed if I were him that I got the smaller cut...but oh well, he won't ***** about it cause he's all class. And yeah, before you ask, I'm Italian and a big Mosley fan and there are many more like me.

Yeah true. He fought Oscar twice everyone knows Mosley. And he's fought Vargas twice.

I was never really sure about the split, but Shane has never made as much money in his fights as people think.. He made 3 mil against Vargas, and he consistently sees seven figures, but he only made 1 million for the Collazo fight, not 3 like somebody posted earlier. Collazo made 250k for that fight.. So it's not as crazy as it sounds that Shane would get 3 mil for this fight.

Sorry but that is inaccurate. I spoke to G. Leon from Boxing_Talk dot com and he stated that he recently interviewed Mosely and he replied to me that Mosely was getting a 60% and Cotto receiving a 40% split. Maybe the news got it wrong.
