He has a real good jab and is fast and powerful if he lets his hands go he didn't seem to want to let them go against Ouma or Spinks. He beat hopkins even if it was very close and held his own against winky wright come closer to beating him than many other people, yes i believe he is good. Hasn't looked good in his last 2 fights but Taylor has to let his hands go against Pavlik.

yeah, hes good, i admire him because he gave my man winky a competitive fight(still lost 8 rounds to 3 and 1 even though... but thats not his fault he got a gift) and beat that hopkins twice......so yeah he's good... i dont think he looked that bad against ouma, teh shots ouma took wouldve KOed anyone.....now the spinks fight i hold against jermain, he looked ****ing awful....

yea, he's good, i dont think hes great, but i believe he is good. he hung in there with b-hop twice in a rown and then winky afterwards. 3 tough fights to have...

I do think Taylor is good, not great, but he has potential to be should Manny continually try to polish him, and IF HE LISTENS.

After having 2 Hopkins fights, then a Winky fight, I don't hold it against Jermain to have taken the Ouma and Spinks fights, he had 3 fights in a row with guys who were ranked in the top 3 P4P (I believe Wink was 2 or 3?) and held his own, albeit many believe he lost at least 2 out of 3 of those fights.

He let his go against Ouma. He was trying like hell to knock him out and he couldn't do it. One thing about Taylor he needs space to land his power shots. Kelly Pavlik might be able to take advantage of that, he can land very powerfull effective punches on the inside, to the body especially, and he's got a good uppercut.

I'm sorry Hyperion, believe it or not I dont make a point of it to disagree with you but that is atrocious scoring. If the judges would have givent to Taylor by a round or so I dont think that would be unreasonable as a draw wasn't.
