Deal Struck For Samuel Peter vs. Andrew Golota

After WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev pulled out of his Oct. 6 title defense against mandatory Samuel Peter (28-1, 22 KOs), scheduled to take place at New York's Madison Square Garden, dozens of heavyweight began throwing their names in a hat to face Peter in a WBC interim title bout. I'm a huge Golota fan but I think this is the worst possible fight for him. He buckles mentally when he gets hit hard early. He has a decent chin as he took a lot of hard punches from Bowe. But since it has been discovered that all you have to do is jump on him early, I dont see him having a chance.

it's a good fight for Golota, this will be entertaining. Win or lose, it should be good... Hopefully he doesn't pull that **** like he did against tyson.

Golota has some MASSIVE balls to take this fight since his trademark is mentally freezing up and getting KO'd in the 1st round.

Golota has always been blown out by punchers. Peter ends it quick.

I predict that very outcome if Golota fights Peter.

Golota might lose but he could possible come in shape even at the age of 39. Peter could only dream of being that fit
