I have never heard of him talking aboiut conquering a whole division. Maybe his supporters have said something along those lines, don't take that out on him. From what I've seen of him, he's a very humble young man. I don't see any ego, but if it's there, I DOUBT it even comes CLOSE to Mayweathers.. regardless of Mayweather has earned the right to have the ego or not.

You say Miranda is overrated....but he beat he kicked Allan Green's ass, dismantled Willie Gibbs within a round, and should have won the championship in Germany when he fought a good Arthur Abraham, who many people believe to be the 2nd best middleweight in the world right now. Besides, JT didnt have a good resume before he beat Hopkins.

I mean, his supporters did overwhelmingly insist that he would destroy Winky Wright at 160, because he had a "terrible style" for Wright. I'm not sure how this analysis of styles are made, considering no one's style has been terrible for Winky (since he became the defensive matrix), except for Hopkins's 100% ring control style.

Anyone think Kelly Pavlik uses Hopkins's ring control style?

lol, you scored the fight for miranda?...............lol.................im a fan of his but he lost that fight......now, the condititons in which the fight took place were ****ing awful....

The Gibbs win was a good win. The Abraham fight showed that Miranda was better than Abraham.

I think Green committed strategic suicide in their fight though... still can't take it away from Miranda, but I think most good fighters could outbox Edison Miranda.

Overrated fighters are guys who get recognition beyond their accomplishments and talents.

Miranda, was always noted as a fighter with a big punch. He wasn't praised as some sort of messiah for his division. He was always noted as a threat, no more no less. No one said he was the next Hagler or some ****.

Kelly Pavlik, same thing. No one's sayin he's this big bad ass cyborg, from the future, comin to bring an end to the Middleweight division's world. He's noted as a great puncher, with skill. Kelly earned this fight, because he hasnt lost during his attempt to get here.

I mean other then Pavlik, who would you guys want to see Jermain Taylor fight?
