    I think Hatton will win

Mayweather thinks he 'comes straight ahead' and uses his fights with Corrales and Gatti as examples of what he does to 'come straight ahead' fighters.

    He's clearly under-estimating Hatton.

Hatton has knows all the angles and has great lateral movement on the inside, but, then again, Mayweather will see this if he studies more Hatton fights...

But no, Hatton is an immovable object. Mayweather's hands are ****ed to boot. Mayweather moves backwards faster than anybody BUT Hatton moves forwards faster than anybody. Mayweather has terrific balance, But Hatton has fantastic balance as well and the strength to get Mayweather off-balance.

I'm leaning towards the Hitman son

Can Hatton land cleanly to the body coming in? Or only during/after clinches?

Moving laterally on the inside (side-stepping etc)

Oscar's left hook is deadly upstairs when he loads up on it, which he never did against Floyd ('cause it's not fast enough or short enough). Hatton has a lower center of gravity and gets more leverage on his body shots, plus he's more accurate down there.

I'm not saying Hatton's going to land the big ones downstairs, just that the Oscar fight is irrelevant for this discussion

Moving to his left? It's hard for me to picture Hatton stepping to his left and having anything to hit.

I find it weird that some people seem to think this fight will be easy for Mayweather. Hatton has fought a lot of very good fighters, ok a lot of them were past their best but still world champions and Hatton competed and whipped them all! so i dont understand why some think Mayweather is gonna destroy him? Only thing i worry about is hatton cutting up, if he dont Mayweather will have a rough night.
