Oscar is selling the fight. As the promoter, it benefits him to portray the fight as very competitive. It is the smart thing to do.Comment

I'm not calling you names. I'm just holding up a mirror so you can see for yourself that this is not a good look for you.

My reasons for thinking the jab is the most dangerous punch against Floyd are not the same as most.
Personally I think the jab is so important against Floyd because it sets everything up. Oscar wasn't just snapping Floyd's head back. He was using it to set his punches up. Mayweather's style of fighting relies on balance and reflexes. By throwing a stiff jab (it has to be thrown with intensity, not that measuring jab Gatti was throwing that Floyd ate up) you will make Floyd react by either dipping right or backing up. During that split second Floyd is vulnerable to other punches.
Now I know for a fact Hatton is better suited than any other fighter Floyd has faced recently at taking advantage of that vulnerable moment. The question is, is his jab good enough to do this? Because you cant just have any jab like I said about Gatti, you have to have a powerful and probably long jab. Hatton's T-rex arms will make this difficult, but his quick foot speed might compensate for that.Comment
