I somewhat agree with that. I watched a clip of him being interviewed after the Las vegas conference when a reporter asked him why he came out of retirement and he said "if the price is right anything is possible". Then in another interview somebody asked him the same question and he said " for the love of boxiing, it has nothing to do with the money" he said.
Again, I'm a floyd fan but I don't support all of his talk and behavior.

I do think Floyd is going to win Dec. 8th , and I dont care who wins or loses this fight cause I am more so on the neutral part of things and just wanting to watch a greating boxing match. People replying back talking about how Ali said he was the greatest, and also remember Robinson was quite the egotist himself. That is true and a good agruement to defend Floyd, but in most peoples eyes Floyd still hasnt done enough to even claim that. The way I see it is let him say what he wants you as a person know/think who the real GOAT is, just like Floyd does. Like someone stated it could be just to sell the fight.
Regardless, floyd isnt the greatest of all time, obviously, but so long as he claims he is, this is a sport where negative popularity can actually generate money.

And then he committed a cardinal sin: he talked about how much (well, little) Oscar tipped the service attendants.
Floyd was a ***** for doing that. You don't talk about what another man does with his money or his ****. He put Oscar on blast.
And yes, ricky hatton was whining to the press all week. ricky was a ***** for doing that.
I call 'em as I see 'em.

I think thats the main punctuation of what mayweather is trying to do, and what he has to do. because his PPV numbers are consistent, and he obviously sells tickets, and you while alot of you claim hes so hated in his own country, in the hip hop and black community hes very much loved, however because that community is generally underrepresented on this board, it doesnt come out.

Another contradiction: Floyd claims not to know anything about hatton. That is comical. Floyd is a student of the game. And the more he talks, the more it comes out that he has studied ricky for awhile.
At first it was 'i've never even seen you fight",, then it was "when you fought castillo"...and "when you fought tszyu"...
Floyd is lying. He knows everything about hatton. But he just says that to belittle ricky. Trust.
In an interview I just watched, he claimed not to know who Collazo was. And a few months ago, he criticized Shane for ****ty sales numbers vs Collazo.

Fair enough but the word "*****" is being thrown around too quickly around here. Makes me think a new word needs to be invented for the people who really committ big time ***** ass moves since Ricky expressing his feelings towards floyd's disrespect (although he keeps showing he is not too bothered by it) is being considered ***** like behavior. Guess he should just lie and not say the obvious. He could say, "no floyd's disrespectful behavior doesn't bother me at all. In fact I don't even consider it disrespectful really."
Fact is, there is no RIGHT WAY to respond to what Floyd has been doing.
