As someone who KNOWS a guy who lost a lot of money betting on Frazier and is a huge racist, people disliked Ali for being a loudmouth on top of being black, but they still respected his skill. For goodness sakes, people respected JOE LOUIS' skill decades earlier!!!!

I dunno who exactly floyd is bypassing, his last four signed fights are Judah, Baldy, De La Hoya, Hatton, he's not ducking anyone imo, and he's called out mosely and cotto before, mosley only started talking when floyd signed to fight de la hoya, before then he had toothache, cotto didnt want it imo, so i think floyd is taking good fights.

I think a lot of them would, but me personally I don't think so. It's not I hate floyd, he is one of the best boxers I have ever seen and totally respect him, but it's the trash talking I don't respect and the way it is done. Yeah Ali used to trash talk and sometimes it was a little disrespectful, but not as much as Floyds. It's all in the manner that it is done, Floyd looks arrogant and like he actually means the things he say's, where as Ali always did it with a wry smile on his face and a little touch of class which makes it much easier to accept.

i would disagree i think floyd is purely for the cameras, if you take a look at the life ali led, and the life floyd led, you will see when the talking stops, floyd is much more diciplined than ali.
