castillo was def past his prime in this fight. is that to say that hatton isnt a great fighter who squashed castillo in his tracks? absolutely not. hatton kept coming forward and beating on castillo. he fought very good and dominated his opponent. but that does not mean castillo was past his prime. i think castillo was done after the corrales beating he took... not taking anything away from hatton, but he did not beat a prime castillo. he beat a good fighter in castillo and a good fighter in tszyu. u cant say whether or not those prime guys would win or lose to hatton. those are the guys that he fought and those are the guys he beat. simple as that.

but the castillo who fought floyd was clearly fresher and more "there" than the castillo who fought hatton. saying different is ignorance.

After watching Mayweather-Castillo II for the second time I realized that whoever thinks that Floyd "destroyed" Jose Luis in the rematch has not seen the fight.

even with the outside ring distractions aside, from round 1 on, castillo looked like he was fighting in slow motion, he looked awful.
