Yeah, there was a string of about a year or so that Augustus was on ESPN a few times. I cant remember exactly because its been a few years, but I know for sure there were at least two horrible decisions in there, and maybe one or two more that could have easily gone his way and the crowd thought he won. But Augustus/Burton decision got the crowd really riled up. It was definately worse than the Huerta/Kid Diamond decision of late that was pretty bad. Usual he does his "string puppet" dance and the ref hates him and you can tell. Sad thing is he may seem ****y doing it, but you can tell hes really just doing it to get a laugh.

I cant hide that I'm a fan of his, but his record really isnt as good as it should be. If you take away the ones the judges stole from him, he would have a significantly better record. But at the same time take away the fights were he shows up and looks like hes just there to make a paycheck and go the distance which you cant do, because thats his fault.

      Who is they?

[QOUTE]How do you go about calling it a robbery when Taylor was given two chances to give a response to Richard Steele? Had he said yes, or I'm okay. Ballgame. Not a robbery, just controversial, Taylor had an out to win the fight, which was to open his ****ing mouth and spit a word out. The blame falls on Taylor, not Steele.
but wasnt chavez's corner jumpping up on the ropes which could distract taylor..... and also the referee didnt notice that the red light signalling the last ten seconds of the round was blinking (witch i geuss shouldn't make a difference wether theres 10 seconds left or 3 mins left but the fact that he didnt seem to observe it didnt seem obvious) im not saying your wrong because tolyor did look to weak to continue. What i'm trying to say is taylor deserved to win the fight BUT life isn't allways fair and even if he did deserve a win that doesnt mean he it would be fair to give him the win if he couldnt speak and pull himself together(luck can be a ***** and a godsend depending on wich ever way you look at it. chavez got lucky with a knockdown and taylor got unlucky with a corner telling him to fight instead of playing it cautios and evading punches). the annoying thing about it is no one can really know if he was just to weak to awnser or was being distracted by chavez's corner deliberatly or undliberatly. i geuss in the end you just need a little bit of luck

          Holyfield v Lewis 1
Roy Jones v Park Si Hun in the 88 Olympics
          Chavez v Taylor
          Spinks v Holmes 2
          Barrera v Juarez
          Ramirez v Whitaker
          Chavez v Whitaker
          Nelson v Fenech

Some may say DLH v Whitaker.

Pernell Whitaker was one unlucky guy.

It took five pages before someone brought up The Fat Jamoc getting a "draw" against Holyfield?

Also, what about Toney vs. Peter I? I had Toney winning that widely.

One fight people may not have seen on here cos you're all Fat Yanks who never download **** unless it's on your TV, you lazy fat asses, is Simone Maludrottu vs. Damaen Kelly I, which was reputedly one of the biggest robberies of the last 10-20 years.

            I really don't see the controversy over Forrest-Quartey, I honestly don't.

I will never understand how people claim Hatton-Collazo as a robbery. Collazo might've worked Hatton over better than Hatton did Collazo, but hat's simply not how fights are scored. People have to take their heads out of their own asses and score fights round by round; and not as a whole. I might not agree w/ the way judging is done, but it is how it is done.

People also claiming robberies on close fights are ****ing ******ed. The perfect example of that mentality is PBF-Castillo I... it was a close fight. Regardless of who you had winning there's no way you could make it more than 7-5 or something close.

PissFlaps speaks the truth... Hatton-Collazo is NOT a "robbery", the same with Tayor-Hopkins I or Taylor-Wright. If it's a close fight, then by definition it can't be a robbery. I also wonder how many times people who say Collazo won have seen the fight? I thought he had the first time, but the second...

                Oh, that Demetrius Hopkins fight...

I'd have to say my fight against David Haye. I was giving Haye a lesson. Then at the end of the 1st round, Hayes corner put sand on his gloves and he tried to blind me. When that didn't work the ref jumped in to save him and awarded HIM the fight.

David Haye is a cheat and a coward.

Actually one Judge had Chavez up. THAT is a mystery.

Left column is robbed, right is the wrongful victor.
