I was a huge fan of Chavez and I remember watching that fight with the whole family. I have it on DVD as well. Chavez won two rounds and you'd be hard pressed to find any more rounds to give him. When they announced it a draw, everyone at the house was all quiet and didn't really talk about the fight the rest of the night. Strange, 'cause we usually stayed up half the night talking about the fights! Everyone knew Chavez had gotten a gift to keep his undefeated record intact.

        A different take...

There are far too many of these debacles for me to recall and single-out the biggest. Not only did this fight not go the limit, but it might be a bit of a stretch. Nevertheless, one could make the argument that that Castillo was "robbed" of a victory when the ref allowed the fight to continue following Corrales' knockdown, although he apparently had taken enough punishment. Conversely, the ref seem to have stopped the fight prematurely while Castillo - still on his feet - absorbed a few unretaliated punches.

The referee - consciously or not - manipulated the fight in Corrales' favor.

De La Hoya/trinidad was pretty bad, but Im glad the judges didnt reward his half-assing. Kinda wish they had the same judges for the last De La Hoya fight...

                  Anyhoo, Quartay/Forrest was HORRID.

Amen brother. I ****ing hate the ****s who dont admit Hagler won that fight.

The biggest robbery EVER has to be Jones Jr at the olympics. In pro boxing though i'd have to say..

                    Leonard - Hagler
De La Hoya - Mosley II
                    De La Hoya - Trinidad

                    AND MY FAVOURITE!!!!

                    Castillo v Mayweather I

Castillo won that fight and anybody who's seen the fight and has PBF winning is a ****ing moron and knows NOTHING about boxing or how to score a fight!!

dude, corrales got knocked down with one solid clean shot each time he got dropped in that round. castillo was out on his feet and was going to get killed had the ref let it go any further. seriously i'm a fan of both and who ever was on the receiving end of that volley should have been saved castillo or corrales, only a bad things would have happened had the ref not stopped it.

castillo would've gotten hit like 4-6 more times had he stayed on his feet any longer, with each shot getting harder and harder. it was the only right move for the ref.

oh yeah worse robberies, i thought diamond-huerta was bad, augustus-burton 1 was terrible, and augustus-ward was pretty messed up augustus won that fight, but the one that really bothered me was D.hopkins-forbes, 2 pound got robbed so bad it made me vomit.
