He knocked out a Castillo who was on a hot streak, that is very impressive. He just didnt always connect with his shots...

I could honestly say Briggs was one of the hardest punching heavyweights in the last few years

As long as were talking ELITE, I'd say Wlad and Ponce De Leon. Ponce De Leon may be lacking elite technique, but he gets the job done that beats elite's with technique. Also I'd definitely say Rafael Marquez and Israel Vasquez. Vic Darchinyan, while he's now been exposed, when he was at his game and seemingly invincible, he was able to change a fight completely with 1 punch as proven in his Gabi fight. While I'd like to say Manny Pacquiao, it's hard to say if it's just his opposition is so great that they can take a good punch, or that he truely is a stronger and more accurate than average volumn puncher.

Both Vasquez and Marquez are what you would call a knockout artist, especially taking in consideration their weight.

I think there a couple fighters who could have one punch knockout power, but because they fight at elite levels, they cant use their power effectivly.

I think the answer to this thread/question is Sam Soliman.

Pac is obviously an elite one-punch KO artist. The reason why it takes him so long with legends is because they're legends.

It's always amusing to listen to arguments about punching power.
Too many people always blows it way out of proportion. Do some of you guys honestly believe Tua, Peter or anyone else would remain on their feet if Wlad, Peter, Tua or any elite fighter hit them on the chin with their best punch?
                    Fools!

Jackson threw every punch with full force, so if, and probably when, one lands, it will be a knockout unless the opponent sees the punch coming and manages to turn their head a little.

When an up-and-coming fighter like Allan Green knocks out people east and west, people say he's got some great power.
But if he fights elite people and struggles to KO them, the power is suddenly overrated. Why?
                    Did he get weaker?
Does the elite boxers have an elite chin?
Or is it maybe a possibility that good fighters manages to keep their eyes open, looking for incoming punches and excell at turning their heads just enough to avoid getting cold-****ed?

Allan Green will struggle more and more to KO fighters as he progresses. Opponents will know his strenghts, study him and know what to look for and expect.
Chin and power is severely overrated by most (ignorant) people, including the so-called experts...
