Are there any elite one punch KO artists anymore?

Power is a good thing to have, no doubt
but look at all the top fighters in each division. how many of them are "elite one punch KO artists" .. not knocking the topic, its a good question.
Power is still a good thing to have, but above average defense can neutralise it.Comment

I agree with you (as usual), I think power is an overrated part of the game.
Wright-Trinidad anyone?Comment

exactly
you can have all the power in the world
but its a moot point if you can't land clean.
take the Pavlik-Miranda fight
lets give them even power for the sake of argument
(Miranda has better one punch power, Pavlik has better accumulation power)
Pavlik wins, because he's more fundamentally sound.
although I would like to see a Pavlik-Miranda rematch sometime down the line at 168. but thats a whole nother story.Comment

edwin valero
david haye
kermit cintron
though none of them are on the elite level, they all have the talent, not so sure about the tools.Comment

Well, Wlad owns said what we all knew was coming (I think you are right that he is a one-punch KO artist, but I'm not sure he can actually knock out every person. You overexaggerated slick.)
Now Viva Mexico!!! will undoubtedly say that Antonio Margarito is by far the hardest puncher in the history of the sport (not pound for pound, just literally the hardest puncher ever) and that is why everyone at every weight class fears him.Comment

Well Trinidad is still in the game so he is without a doubt one of the best lb4lb punchers of all time, he just is fighting to high of a weight class. Rocky Juarez has some good one shot KOs but hes the level bellow elite.
You should check out Chris Byrd, hes awesome! Hasnt fought in a while though...Comment
