  • He was acting hyper before the Oscar fight. He took his shirt off then and talked a lot. You act like he's acting different than he usually does. Now if he was quiet as a mouse then I'd suspect something.

Floyd has never let his emotions get in the way of a fight. Remember how he handled his business against Corrales? Here's some quotes from the pre-fight:

Mayweather: "I'm going to win this fight for all the battered women."
This was a few months before Corrales was scheduled in court for beating his wife.

Corrales: "I'm going to win this fight for all the battered fathers." (A lame comeback IMO)
This was right after Floyd dismissed Floyd Sr. for Roger.

Still, Floyd did what Floyd does in that fight. Broke Corrales down, and fought nearly a perfect fight. It was incredible.

I've seen previous press conferences with Floyd. This one was different. It may be irrelevant, it could be that Floyd was pre-occupied with something else. I know that, but still...it seemed different to me. Maybe it was the contrast between the two that threw it off, but I don't think Floyd presented very well this time.

I'll take Mayweather, you can take Hatton since you are so sure. Sound good?
if he think mayweather will win, why would he bet against him

Well, I didn't see that the title of my earlier post had been changed, and I couldn't find it. It wasn't until after I made this post that I noticed what had happened.

Okay rocket scientist, let me use your logic in a previous example:

                    Ricardo Mayorga 2-0 Vernon Forrest
                    Vernon Forrest 2-0 Shane Mosley
Shane Mosley 2-0 Oscar De La Hoya

This means Ricardo Mayorga beats De La Hoya to death in the ring, right?

No really, 11K bet on the fight? If not, stop talking in terms of fact about the fight.
