Is cross arm even used anymore? I know Foreman used it during his comeback. Other than that, I cant think of a successful boxer who has used it recently.

Whoever said whats best for you is on point. Toney used to fight in a regular style with his hands up, and he said he used to get his ass beat bad in sparring so he developed his own style, which is pretty much the Philly Shell.
