Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. would be the perfect opponent for Oscar De La Hoya's tune-up bout... J.C. Jr. has already expressed a desire to face ODLH to avenge his father's two brutal defeats.
Julio's legendary moniker, the theme of "revenge", and Oscar's star power would make for great drama in the build-up; Oscar could then easily get the work and the few good rounds that he's looking for in a tune-up fight...not to mention the dubious accolade of brutally embarasing the undefeated young prospect...

He should just work out a deal with the people involved in the contender series and have them do a tournanment. The winner gets to fight DLH. Win or lose i think it would be a great opportunity for a young and upcoming fighter to showcase his stuff. It would also bring in a lot of new fans to the sport who may watch the show but not necessarily professional boxing.

I ultimately want to see him fight Paul Williams, I think his chin is solid enough to walk right through Paul's punches. Cintron, more of a risk, but I think Oscar can pick him apart. And Vernon Forrest, both smart punchers.
