DLH vs. Margarito would be a great fight. I used to think Oscar would blow Margarito out, but it would be close. Margarito is a solid fighter.

        Mine was better... *****.

Anyways, if you would actually read other people's posts instead of just making ****** threads about Mexican warrior this, Mayweather coward that, Pinoys eat dogs, etc., you might have a realistic perspective of things around here.

I am appalled that you haven't been banned yet.

Yeah, really, uber-patriotic and completely ignoring everything.

But hey, maybe I'd do the same if there were any good Chilean boxers.

Good to hear De La Hoya's thoughts on this.

The more I think about a possible tune up person I am thinking of two people:

                1. Jose Luis Castillo: Yes Hatton crushed him, but it'd be a nice tune up that he could win very easily. Also knowing De la hoya there's some good money invovled and hopefully Jose luis castillo could finally retire after it.

                2. Carlos Baldomir- Great fight for De la hoya. Baldy has a hell of a chin, loves to infight, and just look De la hoya be great all around. It'd be a pretty exciting fight is Baldomir could make it down to 147 again. The question is can he?

It would make me happy to see Castillo get a large sum of money from the De La Hoya fight. He has been a great professional, and I feel bad that he doesn't even have a million dollars to his name because of the Corrales lawsuit.

I doubt Baldomir can make 147. Why would he move up if he could? Bigger money fights down there, and he is weak as **** anyway, his punches aren't going to do any better at 154 than they did at 147.

i think a big name (like Oscar de la hoya) doing a tune up on free tv is a great thing...

it DOES do a lot for boxing...especially since the popularity he has; in my opinion all the casual fans will tune in to see a great of this generation fighting when it wont cost them any $$$.

this could very well bring in the casual fans into hardcore fans...

its a great thing and im glad he's considering doing it...

i just hope its not a bum (i dont expect a great fighter) but no bums...

great picks both of them and it could easily happen at a catch weight 150 151 whatever. JLC would be a brawl. Can you imagine if CAstillo could reach down and find one last great performance? And Baldomir looked damn good against Forrest who looked like he himself is destined for p4p once again.
