Different kind of toe-to-toe though man. Floyd never stands and trades... standing and trading is ****** in my opinion, unless you are Julian Jackson, and even then, it's not the best of ideas.

Sitting down on his punches while deflecting a lot of punches with his philly shell defense is what he does when he goes toe-to-toe. I guess it depends on how quick Ricky is. If Floyd deems him too fast for that, then Floyd will try to outbox him. If Floyd can see the punches coming, then why the **** wouldn't he go toe-to-toe? It makes him more money in the long run, gets shallow boxing fans who equate how good a fighter is to how exciting he is to shutup, earns him more fans overall etc.

All of that sets up bigger fights for the future. Toe-to-toe is a good idea if it is safe for Floyd. I'd say it's probably about a 50-50 chance of it happeneing, and it will all depend on how Floyd measures Ricky's speed.
