To be 100% Serious there is no way in hell Hopkins won 7 rounds of that fight. You can say the rounds he won were more convincing than the rounds Taylor won, but no he did not win 6 let alone 7 rounds of that fight. This is coming from someone who just finished watching both fights today.
Who won Hopkins-Taylor 1 on your card?

Well like I said in my post... there seems to be 2 general Schools of Thought as to how to score a round.. one is agression(even if it's ineffective) and the Other is Ring Generalship.. So there is a WAY in hell that Hopkins could have won 7 or 8 rounds..To be 100% Serious there is no way in hell Hopkins won 7 rounds of that fight. I admire your passion.. but your opinion holds no more weight than mine or anyone elses... It all depens on perception.. with 3 completley different judges.. Not paid off by HBO
.. the results could have been VERY different..

That's really how you look at the fight. Because after the fight, even Taylor wasn't sure he won. It's all in how you judge a fight. I've actually asked a couple of judges (though one was Jerry Roth, and I'm not a huge fan of his....) and they've all said they SERIOUSLY doubt that judges score rounds for one fighter, for the same reasons. Everyone looks for something different. And in a close, slowly contested fight, I'd assume, that the reason differs the most.To be 100% Serious there is no way in hell Hopkins won 7 rounds of that fight.
