Mills Lane, Tony Weeks, Richard Steele, Steve Smoger and Sparkle Lee.

I hate Cortez, Bayless, Nady and Drakulich.

Whenever I heard the name Joe Cortez, I can easily remember many greatest boxing fights that are already a part of boxing history . He truly deserve to be in the boxing hall of fame based upon on his previous achievements as a referee. However, I was really surprised on how Joe Cortez can easily hide his favoritism. Although it was not obvious, one can truly agree with my observations that in the TWO previous fights of Manny Pacquiao the referee have shown favoritism against Manny Pacquiao. The first one was during the first Paquiao Vs. Barera fights. Although Cortez was not the referee of that fight, he was the referee in the fight of Manny Pacquiao Vs. Juan Manuel Marquez. If this fight were between two Mexican fighters, or even between two African American fighters, Joe Cortez could probably handled this fight differently. Joe Cortez showed his favoritism to Juan Manuel Cortez by counting slowly. If the situation was the reversed and Pacquiao was the one who have been knockdown THREE times during the first round. Cortez by his reputation could have been just stepped in and stop the fight. This is only an opinion and does not reflects the views of other people, but it is something to think about, especially he (Cortez)will be included in the Hall of Fame. this is from that wikipedia page.

I have to admit, that is pretty ****ing pathetic. I seriously hate those dumbass Pacquiao fans. Cortez could have taken a point away from Pacquiao and let Marquez get a break if he wanted to because Pacquiao hitting Marquez while he was down.

I have a thing about Richard Steele tho...he always seemed to not care much about low blows, as long as it wasnt around the balls area. not that it matters much, I thought he was an excellent ref, just an impression i got from seeing him ref fights.
