    Who is the best ref?

You can take it however you want, like who does the best job, whos the most unbiased, who calls fights off at the right time, etc.

Personally, I like Steve Smoger. maybe its just me, but when hes the ref, the fights turn out to big slugfests and have dramatic endings. does he just end up reffing good matchups? maybe...but he always stops fights a little bit late but never dangering the fighter. remember how he overrided the ring doctor for safety in the Augustus vs. Oliveria fight?

also, I think he deals with clinches well, which can have a dramatic effect on how the fight plays out, he makes generally very good calls, and also steps in to break the fighters before the bell rings at the best time. Also a thing I like, he stays out of the way of the fighters and more or less out of the camera picture, which I really like

But thats just me, who do yall think is the best referee in the business?

I do likes me some Richard Steele.

Let's see who mentions the words Taylor and Chavez first in this thread.

I agree steve is one of the best refs and allows fighters to fight out of the clinch which does provide aewsome slugfest. NExt in line would be joe cortez no question. i can tell you who is the worse and thats nady.

I don't like Nady either... he always seems enraged and full of hatred towards both fighters, always threatens to take points off for random ****.

The extremely old Dale Grable sucks too. Very grumpy and prone to taking needless points off.

Vic Drakulich is also bad IMO, because of how flustered he looked and acted in the Mayweather-Castillo I fight. Both points taken off were not necessary, and when Castillo hit Mayweather in the back repeatedly, he didn't do anything. He's a tool.

EDIT: Don't forget Kenny "I am too scared to do my job" Bayless.
