For you limeys - football wise...

Heskey, Rooney and John terry are hard as ****.

    Crouch has great reach.

Owen apparently was a good Am in his youth.

I know that Japan right now is weak in terms of boxing but Ichiro and Shaq are in the same boat if they are to start fighting, and race and nationality has nothing to do with it if u ask me. It's about natural talent and whose talent is better suited for boxing. If Ichiro was latino, black or philipino, then would you consider him?

Ichiro is a great choice. The guy is an amazing athlete. He wants to be a pitcher when he turns 40. I think he has the skill to do it. What does his race have to do with anything?

As for Shaq. At one time he was incredibly fast and agile for his size.
Stamina may have been a problem in the boxing ring, but if you look at his size combined with his athletic abilty there is just not many people like him.

You have to add the if in this one though. As in if they had the heart to be a boxer. Not everyone can get punched in the face over and over again, and want to fight back. That comes before anything.

well, have you seen him throw out a runner, hitting homeruns with his skinny frame? and he is batting first so of course he won;t be trying to be barry bonds. Paulie can;t knock him out. Torres can't catch him. The petersons brothers might catch him though.

Dadon, who do you think could be a better boxer?

You make no sense at all.

How good is Mayweather on a baseball field? We are judging on athletic ability, and Ichiro could hit more home runs if he wanted to. Thats not his job though.

I can;t believe I am discussing in this thread, this is as bad as mythical mathc-ups but I love Ichiro's talent. It's definately well spread.
