As long as the sky is blue, Beyer would never be able to beat Jeff lacy, like i said, Lacy just had an awful night and JC has his best ever, plus lacy was one dimensional in that fight and totally underrated JC and believed in his own hype, if those two fought again, lacy would do better, and prolly still lose, but the point is, Kessler aint fought no one on the level of lacy in his prime, and calzaghe took him in his prime, and took him out of his prime in one night,

Im pretty sure the same will happen to Kessler, but either, im not a fan of both of them.

...and as for that claim about prime Reid beating Kessler - What a load of bull... I know there is no absolute evidence since they havent faced each other - and certainly never will prime vs prime. But there's absolutely NOTHING to justify having Reid the fave in that. Such claims just signal complete (and probably intentional) ignorance about Kessler's potential.

But hey - if someone prefers to aproach the nov 3rd fight with blinkers on, that's entirely their own choice. Now that the fight has been made i don't really give a **** how much some ppl wanna underrate Kessler.

Hope to see 'em eating crow nov 4th.

(for the record i have Kessler about a 60-40 fave over Calzaghe)
Who gives a **** about absolute evidence, what abolute evidence do you have that kessler's resume over the last 4 years is better than Calzaghe's?

            None mate.

Lets get real now, Lacy in his prime is better than anyone kessler has ever fought, that in itself tells you calzaghe has the better resume over the last 4 years, Kessler hasnt ever been in the ring with a world class fighter, and im not sure you know what a world class fighter looks like if you think Kessler is in the same ball park as JC,

I dont even like Calzaghe, but whats right is right, Kessler= Sidestep, Jab, Sidestep Right hand, i cant wait to see if he gets away with that **** in a few months time cos if he does calzaghe should retire,

Dont be a Kessler ****-Licker all your life, he is a good, solid fighter, unforunately thats where it ends, if he beats Calzaghe i'll give him loads of credit and those calazghe groupies who claim he is on the same level as Mayweather etc can shut the **** up.

Unfortunately i doubt Kessler will win, look at the level of competition they have fought, and the two styles that will clash and any self respecting person can see that Calzaghe has the edge in both and is the favorite.

Thats just the way it is.

Oh, and reid in his prime would take Kessler, no doubt about it imo.

You can think that, thats your opinion. Did you expect me to get mad? Even though thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. And I didn't say Omar Sheika would beat Kessler, I said he would give him problems. But since Omar Sheika sucks now, anyone can walk through him.

Calzaghe's win over Lacy is the high point, but Mikkel has fought better overall calibre continuously.

About equal from point i'd say.

Well I guess you can look at this way ,whos really stepping up now ? have a look at what Kessler has achieved in a 1/3 of the time Joe has , then if Kessler wins this , how does his resume compare then ?

                      geezzzz..

so lacy was in his prime against joe..?

you think, that after only 21 pro fights, he was prime..

lacy was actually rather green and untested, never been involved in what constitutes a big fight pre clazaghe..

lacy isnt better then anyone kessler has met.. for me mundine would be a stylistic nightmare for lacy, would pose far more problems for joe, and did good against mikkel.. for me mundine is at least equal to lacy..
