If Mayweather was as sucky as Tony implies, and Hatton lost to this sucky FMJ dude, then Hatton - by extension - is overrated.

Most overrated fighter of all time? Well of recent times I'd say Vitali. Without a doubt. All-time? Couldn't say.

Jack Dempsey WTF the man is not overrated the fact that some of you think he is actualy makes him underrated

and yea tyson is overrated

you find Dempsey in the top 20 for p4p lists and many writers have him as a top ten Heavyweight. His record is NOT that great. at all.
same thing with Johnson.


how is Pernell overrated? most people agree that he is at least a top 20 p4p fighter, and thats pretty much where he belongs. isnt that fair enough?
whats wrong with Toney? he probebly has one of the best runs at heavyweight for a middleweight of all time. hes definately up there in the p4p lists.

Some people rank Dempsey in the top 3. Some go as far as to say he's the best ever. He didnt achieve anything more than Tyson, Wlad, Holyfield, Lewis, Ali, Marciano, Fraizer, Louis, Foreman, Holmes, Liston...

Dempsey was a very good fighter, but I dont see what makes him so special other than the fact that he was really popular. Jess Willard was an untalented giant of a man with much less skill than Valuev. He was praised for that win then he just defended the belt once a year, and he avoided black fighters.

Most Overrated in the fact some people think he's god is..........Roberto Duran! Yes he was great but also he got his ass kicked in his prime against Esteban Dejesus, he was dropped in the first round of that fight. Yes he wins a good fight against Ray Leonard, but then Quits like a dog in the Rematch, Loses a UD to Wilfredo Benitez, Loses again to Kirkland Laing. Beats up a Hurt and 12 - 0 Davey Moore Now people think he's god again. Loses aUD to great Marvin Hagler but Procedes to Get ko'd against hearns in 2. Wins a Split Decision to Iran Barkley " I thought Barkley won great fight though" Then loses again to Ray Leonard in a white wash.

Yes Duran is great but he's not nearly as great as people make him out to be, People that say Ali is overrated are ******ed, Ali is at worst #2 Heavy alltime.

Hamed simply got exposed by Barrera but most believe he could have been a lot better if he didn't believe his own hype.

Marciano? Well thats a difficult one but I suppose its fair to say he is overrated because of his unblemished record.
