Besides Showtime Championship Boxing, Lennon does Fox Sports events and he does Elite XC, some Shobox, VS. (I've seen Buffer do a VS. event, too but mainly HBO stuff and old WCW) and he does some of the independent PPVs... he's probably more active than Buffer, currently...
Right from his site too.Comment

He's not flashy or as famous, but I think Lennon does as good of a job as anyone out there. Also a fan of the "mas macho" guy - what's his name?Comment

This says different.Mr. Buffer announces internationally for many different sports, entertainment, corporate and private events often utilizing “LGRTR!”®. He is considered the “Premier Sports and Entertainment Announcer” by millions of fans worldwide. He is in high demand internationally for TV/Film/Radio voice-over work, as a product spokesperson, TV commercials and special personal appearances for sports, entertainment, corporate events and special promotions.Mr. Buffer's international exposure is huge, with Europe being his largest market outside the U.S. Michael Buffer has established himself as an American sports icon and his "Let's Get Ready to Rumble®" trademark phrase, surpassing over $400,000,000 in retail sales of its licensed and branded products, has firmly positioned itself as a part of American Culture.
Right from his site too.
I'd be interested to see a list of his 2007 bookings...Comment

Either way, Buffer's got a more distinctive voice and brings a more big-event feel through his announcing. Soundtraveler's actually better than a number of guys you see on smaller cards on FSN, Shobox, ESPN, etc., don't you think? He's got that "radio" voice same as BufferComment

Sure, the thread says "better", though. Lennon is probably more accessible and cheaper. I just think he's polished and professional, and like I said - I've seen Buffer do some "messups" lately... For example, the Forrest-Mosley fight I went to instead of saying "Indianapolis, Indiana", he said "Indiana, Indiana" There was one that came up on ESPN Classic where he messed up announcing the scorecards too.
