HBO's Michael ("Let's get ready to rumble") Buffer or SHO's Jimmy ("It's showtime!") Lennon, Jr?
Who's the Better Boxing Announcer?

Yeah Buffer.
Because he remembers and pronounces everyone's nicknames...........plus adds all the dramatic changes to his announcements.
That was being technical.....but I also like the idea he speaks a couple of languages to boot and does a good job speaking Spanish.

Buffer does not have a monopoly on those qualities. Lennon also states the fighters' nicknames and enunciates the spanish names with clarity and precision.Yeah Buffer.

Buffer learns and rehearses the correct pronounciation of the fighters' names prior to the fight, but unlike Buffer, Lennon actually speaks spanish.
To me, Lennon comes off a tad more down to earth than Buffer, who seems somewhat full of himself. At any rate, both men are equally good at what they do.Comment
