Junior Witter has instructed his lawyers to consider action against Vivian Harris after the American suggested he may have taken drugs before their WBC light-welterweight world title fight last week.
Bradford-born Witter dominated the bout and stopped Harris in the seventh round to retain his belt.
But, in an interview, Harris said: "I don't know if they injected him with stuff, but he's never beaten anyone of my calibre, something was wrong."
John Ingle, Witter's manager, said: "Junior is tested after every fight and that was the case last week."
