Hatton will batter Mayweather, I promise you. And guess what will happen when this happens...

I'll tell you what, all the Yanks will start claiming Mayweather is past his prime, and 12 months ago he would've killed Hatton. I can see it now, it was exactly the same as the Lacy V Calzaghe, and the Lewis V Tyson fights.

When will the winging Yanks just accept that one of their boys has been beaten fair and square. never I suspect.

I think your the one being a little biased here. Forget about being American, British or whatever just look at each fighter objectively!! Look, Hatton is a great little fighter who has beaten all the other little guys with his agression.
His most notable win had to be against an unannounced retired Kostya Tszyu who had no business in the ring in the first place. Now look at Mayweather, he's bigger and that's a fact he has grown since being a kid as a lightweight. Mayweather is faster, and forget about boxing skills right now he's the best boxer in the game at any weight. Punching power, this is subjective but once again looking at both fighters as WELTERWEIGHTS it's at best a draw. Mayweather has fought the better opposition and is in his prime and has shown no sign of slowing down. He beat a much bigger fighter in Dela Hoya who can punch. Add all this together and the only thing Hatton can hope to get out of this match is a payday. Anything can happen in a fight just ask Mike Tyson but to me this fight is barely competitive and is being stirred up by the media for money's sake. I'd have rather seen Mayweather fight Cotto than picking on a little guy but I guess Jermain Taylor has been doing it and getting rich so why not Mayweather.

I mean Ricky';s got a great style against boxers in a sense that he's constantly in your face, throwing punches it doesn;t allow you to think much. But then with Floyd, his thinking is so fast it's almost like a reflex now.

You guys don't seem to understand. You say Floyd is more 'skilled' than Hatton, however, Hatton's toughness, power, brutality, and chin might be called skills themselves. These gifts of Hatton are the classic gifts that have always allowed tough fighters to give guys like Floyd a rought fight.

Some of you are in for a rude awakening for underestimating Hatton. Hatton has proved already that he is a top ten fighter in the world, regardless of weight class. He absolutely belongs in the ring with Mayweather. His defense and speed are not on Floyd's level, but plenty of boxers in history have had these same advantages over a 'dumb brawler' only to be outhustled and out-toughed.

You can't measure who is tougher that is a matter of opinion. PBF also has a very good chin and underrated power and has yet to be outhustled or out-toughed.
Its not that the majority is underestimating Hatton it is just that when you line up everything the scales are heavily tipped in favor of PBF and the intangibles of each fighter can't be measured they can only be proven in the ring.

People came up with this "all you have to do is rough him up" tatic as the solution to beat Mayweather a VERY long time ago.

Clearly it's not as easy as it looks.

Let em laugh. They will be sniveling like little bitches after the fight. Floyd will be ****ting blood for weeks, and alot of sigs will be changed immidiatly back to Hopkins as he is riding a high streak.
