I strongly believe that this was the reason Chagaev pulled out of the fight with Ibragimov. Wlad vs. Chagaev is the only fight that makes any kind of sense out there.

wow i didnt know their both ******. Anyway Chagaev definetly could beat Wlad, the plus Chagaev has over peter is his stamina and ability to box taller opponents(Valuev, Virchis, Ruiz) but downside compared to Peter not as much power. You see him winning a second decision on Ruiz (what?) majority decisions for the other two. But yet again all three of those fighters have much, much better chins then Wladimir Klitschko. Chagaev could win a decision or could come out TKO, alot better opponent then Tua who could only win like Brewster did in first fight.Comment

chageav is not nearly as dangerous an offensive fighter as sanders was,,,but he's a more complete fighter. he wont fade after 3 or 4 rounds. I do however agree that he's the most dangerous fight for wlad right nowThis fight needs to be made ASAP in early 2008 since Klitschko is out until then and Chagaev just pulled out of his unification bout with Sultan. These are the two best heavyweights in the world with WLAD being the recognized champ and Chagaev being the only guy who has a chance against my boy WLAD. This fight worries me a little bit for Klitschko because the last power punching southpaw he faced was Corrie Sanders and we all know what happened there. Ruslan Chagaev is an improved version of Corrie Sanders and he is just as powerful, he is also a great boxer(he had a great amatuer record and he defeated the legendary Felix Savon). I think WLAD can pull it out if he fights extremely cautious and batters Chagaev with the jab all night with occasional right hands and left hooks. This may be the only fighter in the heavyweight division along with Sam Peter that Klitschko cannot TKO/KO.
WLAD by late TKO or UDComment

In short, maybe it's time to switch to another sport cause you don't know **** about this one.Comment

Wlad by a ko, somewhere around 6th. It would be rather easy for him to find his range against Chagaev, and Chagaev's handspeed is not nearly enough to cause Wlad problems.
And don't start with trhe Sanders bull****, Wlad underestimate the fighter who was the worst opponent possible for him stylewise.Comment
