Good to see Oscar is already softening his stance on fighting Cotto. Oscar-Cotto would be a tremendous fight and that's the one I want to see, though I really like Shane and would love to see him beat Cotto.

When Shane passed on a third fight with Oscar in favor of fighting Winky Wright of all people, he really broke the mold and like has been said in this thread, he did the right thing and earned loads of respect. That's why it kills me to see alot of boxing fans accusing him of ducking Mayweather. They never talk about how he "ducked" DLH (leaving 10+ million dollars on the table) to fight WINKY WRIGHT (for what, like 2-3 million?), the guy NOBODY wanted to fight and then they HAD to because he beat Shane twice in a row. Mosley doesn't get enough respect for how he's carried himself out of the ring over the years, and now he takes on the hungry young lion in Cotto in NYC? The man doesn't run from anything. Kudos to Shane.

But to be very honest, DLH doesnt deserve the shot and DLH is getting in the way of everything. He should retire or fight Trinidad and thats it.
      agree with that one

Fans don't want to see this fight. Mosley already beat him twice and now they are partners.

Oscar will fight Hatton or Cotto...There's more chances that Cotto beats Mosley than Hatton beating Floyd. Oscar-Cotto May 2008 @ Yankee Stadium.

Exactly my thoughts......how can a guy that loses so many fights still call out champions or superstars. Ill bet the DLH pro fans will flock to see this fker fight Cotto, Mosley, or whoever else is on top. DLH has taken over most of boxing and does whatever the fk he wants. That's the sad part, the commisions will allow him to fight whenever he wants

IMO, if you are 0-2, there is no need for a third. All thats going to happen is either Mosley takes it yet again, which would be expected, or Oscar finally gets the nod, to which people are going to say that he had to wait till they were both old men or something to that effect.

This is a lose/lose, Oscar wouldn't get any props for beating Shane, and Shane sure as hell wouldn't get any props for doing it again. It's hard to imagine this fight even effecting any of their standings signifigantly in the WW division.

If Shane beats Cotto, Oscar deserves props for beating Shane. Shane won't need the props, but it would be nice to have a 3-fight sweep of a HOFer, I don't think that's ever been done.

                borikua,
No way Oscar fights on the east coast. I know it wouldn't be Vegas because of the glove rule, but it would almost definitely be the Staples Center in L.A.

                      .
I don't know why people even listen to Oscar. He contradicts himself more than FMJ does.

Wasn't it a month ago when he said he would "never" fight Cotto because his square-assed Rican wife "asked him not to fight another Puerto Rican" and he promised her?

...now he "has to think" about whether to fight Cotto??

                      STFU Oscar. Go away.
