Miguel Cotto Has beat Zab Judah. lol He hasn't even faced a real Legit p4p guy yet.

Hatton Has faced two and Stopped them both-spare me the he was old and weak and had the ****s,scurvey, and a detached retina routine.

Wow, a sense of humor in the gym is horrible. Almost like throwing money in electrified rivers huh! Or like Being a compulsive gambler that beats his wife or girlfreind. Yeah, Hatton knows how to not take himself too seriously. He also knows how to be a decent rolemodel for kids too.

I can see why you wouldn't like him tito!

Nope, He got the spot by default. Didn't do **** to win it. He just hung around padding his resume on the Mitchells,Ndous,Bruselles's of the world!

Ricky Hatton is a warriors from days gone by. A fighter that true fans can look up to and be proud of. The kind of guy that trains hard and fights even harder. The kind of guy that has a pint or five, and goes home to sleep it off. A man of the people who doesn't need to flaunt his money to impress his fans. He fights and he wins, and his fans love him for it.

He is the kind of man that is solid in his convictions and goes about his life in a considerate and compassionate way. To put it simply, Ricky hatton is alot like most guys just trying to do the right thing in a sport dominated by thugs that put more emphasis on "bling" and "show me the money".

He is the savior of boxing. That is why many boxing fans travel thousands of miles to watch him live. Those fans do so because of Ricky hatton the person, Not Ricky Hatton the Boxer. I think Many of todays stars could learn a thing or two from Ricky Hatton. A man who doesn't need an enterouge to hype his entrance, everyone in the arena knows hatton is the kind of man that walks alone and doesn't need the backup to get the job done.

The Hitman deserves all the credit in the world for his accomplishments in the ring, but more importantly, Hatton deserves major credit for the way he represents the sport that has given him so much.

I take my hat off to Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton 43-0-0(31)

Soon to be the number one p4p Champion of the world. A Title in need of a man worthy of the post!
            Good one, Easton.

I have Hatton to win against Mayweather.

That said there's no way he becomes P4P #1 should he win IMO.

It will be a victory of styles, not sumpremecy in the sport.

If Hatton beats the winner of Cotto vs. Mosley - then I can even begin to start fooling around with the idea.

yeah Hatton is a solid fighter that has more success because of his uncomfortable style rather than his ability, but mayweather has the legs and the mentality to stay away from his clinches for 90% of the bout and pick him off with counters, if floyd loses i lose all respect for him, because he isnt a fighter who needs to be in front of Hatton to do his work...

Great post, he truly is a hero amongst the ordinary folk, and the peoples champion. You are absolutely spot on with your assesment of him, and PBF could learn a thing or two from Ricky in and out of the ring. Personally I think PBF will beat Hatton and outclass him by boxing at a distance as much as he can, but saying that Hatton isn't ****** and I think he will do all he can to get Mayweather to stand and fight with him by questioning his manhood before the fight. If Mayweather isn't training properly and taking the fight seriously and elects to fight it out with Hatton, he will be in for a rude awakening, because if Hatton has got his training regime right this time for fighting up at the higher weight then he will be all over him all night long and won't give him a moment's rest. Hatton has a chance to win, but only a small chance IMO, but I have been completely wrong before on quite a few occasions, just like everyone else. For this fight more than any other I hope Hatton wipes the floor with him, and at the same time we see a great Mayweather so that there will be no excuses. If Hatton pulls it off then he surely has got to be in the top 2 p4p. Then it will be Cotto, after he has beaten Mosely in a good fight.
