no way vitali wins that fight. I can't believe ppl are still, still saying vitali could've won that fight. Get over it, Lewis could whip either brother.

Lewis stopped Vitali on cuts, and that's a legitimate way to beat someone. But Len couldn't even walk back to his corner after the sixth. He was finished too, and had no chance at all of making it through another round. No chance, in fact he might not have answered the bell and he couldn't even be interviewed right away.

Nah, Lewis-Vitali is an even match, Len won fairly but barely. Lewis-Wlad is a huge mismatch in Wlad's favor. Wlad's better in almost every conceivable respect, it's just not even close

I think he ducked him before, but this time he's actually having surgery so its probably real. Plus he was set to fight a total bum.

You present a good point but look at it like this. How many more of those bombs was Vitali going to eat. Those are some big guys and I seriously doubt that he was going to survive another round eating uppercuts and right crosses. Yeah they both were tired but IMO I think Lewis had the momentum and was finding his rythem.

"I understand your point but IMO I felt like Vitali looked the worse between the two fighters. Vitali face looks like he needed over 1000 stitches. He was beat the **** up. Lewis didnt look so hot himself but Vitali looked the worse between the two.

Vitali was about to get his KO if the fight was to continue another 2 or 3 rounds."

Looking worse and actually being worse off are too completely different things. Vitail's cuts were clean slices as in they were not caused by an accumilation of power shots or a "beating", where as Lewis's lumpy head tales a different story.

What actually bothered Vitali more than anything were the continous kidney shots to the lower back that the ref refused to break up while Lewis was holding and hitting. As I recall, Vitali had to shove him off himself. Disgraceful officiating for a Championship fight.

I doubt either fighter would have been koed had the fight continued, Vitali was drained and Lewis was battered. We would have saw more holding and a few smothered shots but that's probably it. That's just my opinion.

Fair enough; it's hard to say either way. But it's all moot as the stoppage was legit. As long as it's not reinterpreted as a blowout. It was a slugfest, the better man won. No need to dispute either side
