Floyd Mayweather Jr causes minor injuries at VMA's

It's not about it being Floyd's "fault" so much as it's about responsibility. To whom much is given, much is required. What's the purpose of making it "rain"? To try to prove you are in control and more powerful than someone else to the point where they lose themselves and their senses due to the bait used to control them. Floyd does this because he is deeply insecure and lacks real esteem in himself or his character. Everything he is seems conditional and based on what he has acquired. Which is sad because he seems to be a great father and very giving. (Making it "rain" not included.)
I love Floyd, but he needs to seek counseling. Nothing wrong with working out some issues.
It does seem arrogant to someone to fling money around, but I'm sure he's not the only one to do it, nor will he be the last.Last edited by MindBat; 09-10-2007, 01:00 AM.Comment

Was there any other foolish acts at the vma's??
Hell some of the people in attendance went to see a fight and an award show broke out then we have this too?
I wish I didn't miss them.Comment

Because Floyd does not conform to your standard of morality, he's insecure and lacks self esteem? What he did is no different from the many rock singers who throw their clothes and themselves into a crowd of fans. Are they insecure and lack self-esteem also? Or at weddings when the Bride throws the bouquet into a crowd of supposedly single women resulting in a tussle on the floor for meaningless flowers.
MY STANDARD of morality? Are you serious? I do not think it takes a rocket scientist to see how insecure Floyd Mayweather is, whether he is throwing money or not. I do not have a standard to hold anyone too. No one is perfect. However, Floyd throwing money and or making it rain all of the time is nothing more than boasting and allowing his confidence to be saturated in his money. I have grown up in the burbs where alot of those around are the exact way. Money is a great thing. Thank God for it. However and very unfortunately, everyone does not have it.
Why not donate the money to those less fortunate? That is something to be proud of. Not making it "rain" so that people look like fools. I have money so I wouldn't have to run to the "rain shower", however everyone does not. It's not necessary to do everywhere, all of the time.
No, he is not the first. However, he does it very consistently. I am a Mayweather fan, always have been. However, I am not so blind that I call unintelligent behavior oppositely. That does not have to be done all of the time. He did it on cribs. He did it on 24/7. He has a record lable named Philthy Rich. The only reason he has to keep shouting to the top of his lungs he is rich is because there is something he feels needs to be proved to someone. It's psychological.
You don't see that? Ok. Well, we will call it a hypothesis of sorts, then. My educated opinion. Based on my socialization, taking psychology and human behavioral studies, etc. MY opinion of Floyd is that he is insecure and needs some assistance working some things out. Oh if it were only as simple as "I just throw money because......." Please do tell me what rational and logical, sound sentiment and or statement could espouse that because.
It's not about Floyd being anything other than what he is. However, his behavior as was exhibited and is exhibited in interviews, on 24/7 etc. is congnizant of someone who needs to be praised, due to lack of self confidence. A posse of bootlickers being more proof of that. His own family states these things. His uncel, father. (Not the bootlickers and those he takes care of. Sure, one could say the Uncle and Father are bitter, however that would not dissolve the truth they are still capable of speaking.)
These are my personal sentiments, and I am not in need of concordance or others adopting my thinking. I do love Mayweather. However, he does not do this for the fun of it. If he did, he would work so hard to convince people. Sorry.Last edited by beauty; 09-10-2007, 04:45 AM.Comment
