Could Emmanuel Augustus Have Been a P4P Fighter?

Could Augustus have become a P4P fighter or even a world champion if he was more focused and serious about boxing?

He's a tough mother****er, but I don't think he had enough boxing skills to be a P4P fighter. He also didn't have enough power to compensate for that, so I doubt it.

I think he would have been a p4p level fighter if he was managed correctly and really focused for his fights.

What did he bring to the table that could have beaten Mayweather or Corrales on his best night, because those were the two P4P fighters in his weightclass back near the turn of the century, I haven't really looked at his career since.

I really don't think that he had enough talent to beat anyone really good, so I doubt he could have ever eclipsed the list.

Incredible defensive skills and a HUGE heart.

Not to mention his incredibly unorthodox style.

              yea i agree with this.

I think he could have been a top 10 fighter in his division at certain points, but he followed all of his big wins, or even his best losses, with consecutive losses to nobodies.

I have only seen him fight Mayweather... I certainly hope his defensive skills were saved for another night, because I saw none in that fight.
