Mayweather hasn't beaten anyone world class the way this article describes since maybe Corley and that was marginal. Hatton will be a tough fight.

Mayweather also hasn't fought someone his size in nearly that long. In fairness to Gatti, though, he was only blown out by the very good. And I don't like AG.

But keep in mind that after the early trouble, PBF was putting a consistent ass-whipping on Judah. Zab bailed himself out with that amateur vasectomy. People forget about the direction that fight had taken.

I think the Hatton groupies are HOPING that it is a tough fight. I'm not so sure that it will be a tough fight. I think the early (1-3) rounds will be close, and then it will get ugly. Very ugly.

No, I have opined that this is an excellent fight since 2005. Not saying Hatton wins, but he is underrated. His hand and foot speed, as a pressure fighter, is top notch. He's ticks faster than Castillo was on his best day. Lots of guys Mayweather fought were his size; Judah and he are both naturally only a few pouds apart and about equal now.

Don't think it's that; Mayweather is smart enough to know that fighters should be at best weight, not just weight. People make too much of punds alone. Lots of heavyweights could have come in heavier back in the day if they wanted but didn't because they were better in peak shape.

Prime example: Cory Spinks weighing 161.4 on his first try to make 160, and 169 on fight night. A boxer and mover should have left some of that **** off so he could do more effective boxing and moving, instead of just being able to move because he was slower than normal.
