    IF Cotto beats Mosley...

If Cotto beats Mosley in November, which I think he will, who do you think he will fight on the eve of the Puerto Rican Parade this year?

    Hatton-Mayweather winner?

If Mayweather beats Hatton tho, do you think Mayweather would fight him in NYC? I dont think so it would probably have to be in Vegas. I never thoght i would say this, but i want Hatton to beat Mayweather, which i dont think he will, so he can fight Cotto at MSG in June. What a fight and crowd that would generate. It would be ***in insane. Plus Cotto could put the first L onto Hatton's glossy record.

But besides Hatton/Mayweather, who else could he fight? Cintron/Clottey winner?

For the spanish speakers here, did you see the interview with Ricardo Torres after the Holt fight? They asked him what he wanted to do next and he said he want revenge against Miguel Cotto. I doubt that fight will happen but it would be pretty fun to watch. Cotto would probablt destroy him this time around tho.

Mayweather would fight in New York, I reckon, if it could be as profitable as Vegas. I'm not sure it could be though.

If Hatton wins he could get a fight with DLH instead.

I think Mosley beats Cotto and if that happens I see Mosley wanting Mayweather(if he beats Hatton). If Cotto wins and Floyd loses then Cotto and Hatton would be a possible matchup. I don't think Floyd will fight in NY although it would be cool if he did.

If Cotto wins, he has my deepest respect and I will stop betting against him.

The reason that Cotto always fights in MSG is because they allow 8 oz. gloves, he would have to wear 10 oz. if he fought in Vegas. Let them fight in Vegas if Floyd beats Hatton, shoudln't change to much.

I think that when Cotto beats Shane, Mayweather will have no choice but to fight him if he gets past Hatton, which I believe he will. And I think that fight would definitely have to be in New York to generate the kind of money that Floyd would want for that fight.. It would be a big draw in Vegas, but nobody sells in New York like Cotto. Cotto and Floyd at the Garden would break the attendance record, no doubt about it.

Torres was already in shape when he got the notice to fight Cotto. He just found out in 2 weeks notice. It was right after his fight with Zazule, which he won easily and barely broke a sweat. He was already in shape, which is why he took the fight. Cotto didnt know he was fighting Torres either. He found out right when Torres did. Both were in shape and thought they were fighting each other later that December but decided to just do it then becasue they were both ready after Branco pulled out. As far as the 2 weeks thing, Cotto was at just as big a disadvantage.

And Cotto would just outbox the **** out of Torres. Torres has nothing on Cotto. Plus dont forget that was the weigh drained 140 pound version of Cotto, no the refreshed welterweight. Cotto would destroy Torres if they ever met again. Im lke 99.9% sure.

o yea i like your avatar, that sure was a nice push Torres put Cotto down with.

thats not why he fights there

he fights in NY because its the biggest place on the east coast to fight. East Coast = Puerto Ricans which = Cotto fans. West Coast= Mexicans. Cotto fights on the east coast because his huge fan base is there. Plus the Puerto Rican Parade whch genereates millions of Puerto Ricans, is in NY on the eve of the night Cotto usually fights in NY.
