Why is it that everyone laughed and said business as usual when De La Hoya knocked out Ricardo Mayorga but when Pavlik knocked out Miranda, everyone started to think that Jermain Taylor's days as champion were numbered.

Can anyone point out any significant difference between Mayorga and Miranda (other than the fact that Miranda can't talk **** like Mayorga)?

They are both no skill boxers who can punch holes in people if they land clean, so why does De La Hoya get no credit for his win and Pavlik gets way too much credit for his win?

    Any thoughts?
YOU IDIOT MAYORGA WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER TITO THATS THE DIFFRENT ...AND MIRANDA WAS STILL FRESH.....I THINK YOU R JUST TRYING TO MAKE DLH LOOK BETTER TO MAKE FLOYDS WIN OVER HIM LOOK LEGEIT.....WONT HAPPEN NEVER WILL

I think that pavlik got all the credit he did was because a lot of people had bought into the mranda hype and it meant either admitting they had grossly overestimated miranda and feeling foolish or coming at it from a different angle and talking up pavliks achievement.

Yeah definately, De La Hoya's legacy is built solely on his Mayorga win.

        Shut the **** up.
