I say it's 50/50 Peter has a good chance against Vitali, who really has been out for a while.

No, No Toney didn't look like Crap. How is that? He was landing counter right hands and doing what he normally does.........attempt to control the fight on the inside by landing better punches and making people miss. The only problem was that Peter was timing Toney perfectly and hitting him with jabs left and right. The minute Toney would try and jab his way in, he'd get stopped in his tracks with a jab from a bigger man. That was the fight time Peter ever displayed real boxing ability and he did that against a HOF fighter.......as well as one of the greatest fighters of this generation.

Hell, i'm still picking Maskaev to beat peter. There is nothing special about Peter at all, he had problems fighting a fat ass toney(there first fight) which vitali or wlad would have easily owned. If Peter had a rematch with Wlad, I'd pick wlad by ko/tko.
I don't know if peter is gonna lose this fight. If he comes in the fight in the same shape he did against toney he should be okay. I have no doubt that peter will win. He is training like eight weeks before his fight. Thats alot for a heavyweight. I say peter will win this fight by knockout.

If he does it would be a damn shame if he did. All he needs to do is come in the same shape he did in the second fight with toney or better. He knows how important this fight is so if hes smart he'll come in good shape. I heard he started eight weeks before this fight training so hopefully that will help him out.

As for this fight I'd say it's a dead even fight.

Klitschko isn't going to knock Peter out, and I don't think Peter would knock Klitschko out. Both guys have rock solid chins.

I do think however, a Vitali that is in shape and isn't showing signs of ring rust......should be able to land straight punches on the outside and beat Peter up for 12 rounds. A Vitali who has been out of the ring for 3 years coming back to fight a young puncher is a whole new ballgame.

And Maskaev is going to get shallocked bad.

yea i got 3k riding on it too. definetly Peter by KO, Maskaev will retire and that's the end of it. Peter will beat McCall but I don't think he's smart enough for Vitali. I'd love to see Peter making Vitali taste the canvas but it won't happen.

I say peter would win by decision. I know some of you think that vitali would beat peter worse than wlad. Realize that vitali would not be fighting the same peter wlad fought. Back then peter was more of brawler than a boxer. Now since he is actually using more boxing skill to go with his power will make him more of a threat. Plus vitali has been out for a while so that would be factor too. I say peter will win by a split decision. I would say knockout but vitali has a very strong chin.

                    Come on soilder
                    The only reason
                    Peter looked good
                    Is because Toney
                    Is a little overweight
                    On streoids
                    and too small
                    For heavyweight
                    Just look at what
                    the champ did
                    Too him
                    Picture Peter trying
To get by the champ's jab
                    just like the lasttime
                    only the champ
                    Knocks Peter out this
                    time
Dont try to pull the wool over
                    my pumpkin patch

Peter isnt the all out brawler he used to be. He can fight smart if he needs to.

I dont think Vitali wins a minute of the fight

or i hope he doesnt anyway
You really don't believe that do you? Vitali's chin is absolutely one of the best i've seen. Vitali would punish the **** out of Peter with the ref saving him by stopping it late.
