    Is Floyd a legitimate WW?

PBF doesn't view himself as "a welterweight" or "a lightweight". He moves through divisions and takes the best fights for him.

I saw an interview when he was 130, and he said he would fight anyone from 154 on down. His last three fights? He fought a WW, a JMW and now a JWW.

He is just a fighter. Maybe YOU are the one putting boundaries up. He doesn't seem to.

I honestly think that floyd take this fight more serious. In the past fighters have taken their opponents too lightly and end up getting embarassed. I'm not saying that floyd will get embarassed but if he doesn't take hatton serious he might get an upset. I think its a bad idea for him to do the dancing show. His main focus should be on hatton and nothing else. Oh well lets wait and see what happens on Dec 8

Yeah, he ducked them to fight a bigger and better fighter at 154,

Whist Hatton is a real man, he dropped back down to 140 and picked on a shot castillo whose best weight was 135 pounds, but urango was in his prime, and we all know he is a world class fighter.

I really don't know how much **** we can give Hatton for fighting Urango. He was a young undefeated fighter, who was pretty unknown. He could have been the next big thing, or not... we just didn't know.

Also, he thought 147 was too much at the time, probably felt that he needed some tune up bouts, and he was more comfortable at 140.

Finally, Urango had his IBF belt that he vacated when he fought Collazo. He just won it back from him.

Lets get serious here, Urango was durable, but ****e, and green and he still hurt hatton.

I don't know anything about his performance against Urango, I missed that fight. But still, would anyone talk dimes on Cory Spinks for fighting some "****ty" undefeated fighter (like 20-0) who won his IBF Light Middleweight belt if he vacated it when he fought Taylor? I doubt it. He is just getting his title back to resume things how they were, what's the harm in that?

i know mayweather never shows a lack of confidence and basically says he'll win easily ALL the time BUT if he actually doesnt take this fight seriously and looks at it as nothing important and cruises through training camp then what has happened to other great fighters might happen to him...

you know the fighters im talking about...the ones who filmed movies...skipped parts of neccessary training...took it lightly...

                    what happened to them?

a lot of them were beaten.

you should never underestimate your opponent.

i dont know if he is or just stroking his ego but if he indeed is thinking hatton is a nobody he could find himself in serious trouble during that fight.

To all those who accused Floyd of being a "Hip Hop thug" I think this Dancing With the Stars thing will have proven me right.

I always said Floyd was really just a nice, straight kid who was posing a bit.

That Hip Hop Thug **** was the excuse of borderline racists trying to find an excuse to label the guy something and dislike him. They didn't like him because of his disposition, not because of his arrogance of the things he said. Arturo Gatti was always just as ignorant - if not slightly more and less tactful depending on the time and situation.

Let the record show Floyd has also been the victim of racial discrimination.
