How would it indicate the opposite when the guy even has the nerve to go on a dancing show? Besides, we all know that Floyd will probally say those things no matter who he's figthing

At the end of the day he's only worried about his babies.......can't hate on him for that. That's way bigger than some fight! How many of you on here making sure ALL your kids eat good? Don't take NOTHING FOR GRANTED!

Rickey know hes about to make alot of money! Everything else is minimal!

So Floyd is choosing to fight an opponent which he himself doesn't view as a threat. Just a big Bravo to Floyd for always choosing to fight the best opposition. Have a nice payday "GOAT".

This criticism seems to make no sense to me.

When has The Floyd EVER expressed that another fighter is "a threat". Have you ever seen PBF betray a lapse in confidence?

          Please explain your position. Thx.

Well of course he's never going to say he views his opponent as a threat. But even his actions are saying he doesn't view Hatton as a threat. You don't get involve is something like Dancing with the Stars if you have an upcoming fight with someone you view as a dangerous threat. Its not just his words, its his actions.

That, I agree with. Floyd is taking Ricky very lightly, and there is NO WAY that he will put in as much trainingtime as he usually does.

'Dancing' is a big distraction. No excuses for PBF. He is a professional and knows the expectation.

If Floyd still beats Ricky despite all this dancing bull****, then you know that Hatton really is a garbage fighter.

I really dont agree with that. If Floyd's performance is visibly and tellingly deteriorated by the dancing and he still easily beats Hatton, then maybe Hatton HAS been overrated a bit. If Floyd wins a close fight and looks in great shape with no signs that the dancing has altered his usual prowess, then it means **** all about Ricky. If anything, it means that Floyd deserves a bit more praise than he would get for the win otherwise.

Am I the only one who thinks that Mayweather isn't taking Hatton lightly? I'll bet he doesn't let dancing with the stars get in the way of his training. Floyd is a gym rat, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had his camp nearby where they film "Dancing with the Stars".

I think he will just handle his training business like usual.

Remember for the De La Hoya fight, he still found time to hit up strip clubs and **** after days of vigorous training.

There's NO WAY it can be "business as usual". For PBF, that means training 3x/day, running whenever he feels like it, staying close to home , etc.

All of those things are off the table. So, there's some adapting necessary. Personally, I would not do it for such a big fight.

I'm not saying that he won't get his rounds in. I see that he already has Lovemore coming in to do some work. But this is a marked departure from the way he normally trains. If nothing else, for the scheduling.
