Mayweather & Hatton: Will 147 Be A Factor?

LOL I agree I feel that in maybe the 5th Larry will discredit himWell said. I could not have stated it better. The only question I have about this fight is in which round will Larry Merchant start whining and criticizing Mayweather after Mayweather starts to make it a one--sided fight (I would say round three since I believe Mayweather will ko him in five). Hopefully, Max Kellerman will get this assignment instead of Merchant and we will actually here unbiased commentary.

I don't think Floyd is going to have much trouble with Hatton. But I do think there might be a point where the fight was interesting because Hatton lands a flurry of partially blocked punches. Maybe a couple get by.
That's not going to mean much at 147.
Yeah it's grim news people, face it.

His punch output is very low in FIGHTS. Because nobody has taken him out of his envelope.
In TRAINING? His punch out put is sick. Nobody is (usually) better conditioned than PBF.
Have you heard about how he spars?Comment

It should have ZERO effect. In fact, this weight is to Ricky's advantage. He can come in at whatever weight he wants...140, 142, 145, 147.
It allows him to come in on fight night at his best weight (11 stone), and he wouldn't have to dry out much on fight week. So his energy should be maxed.Comment
