No hate on Floyd, but even his decent power in the 130's doesn't warrant his being called 'complete'. Other lightweights like Duran, MOsley, and Oscar have carried power to 154, 160, and 168, Duran clearly more so than those three. Plus even at lightweight Floyd didn't have outstanding power, he just had good power. He's outstanding in certain aspects and therefore extremely tough to beat, but a 'complete' fighter is a different thing, not better just different.

Kball, you can't call a two-punch fighter (Kessler) complete.

Jermain Taylor actually has a better chance at becoming a 'complete' fighter, though maybe he doesn't have the chin or the tenacity for that, I don't know.

Anyone who can call Kessler a complete fighter really needs to lay off the sauce.

Rafael Marquez is pretty damn close,

Mr Mayweather is an obvious candidate

          No dice.

          Marquez - Defense?

          Mayweather - Power?

          Maybe Juan Manuel Marquez.

mayweather has no power, he is not a complete figther. Besides that though, he is. If he was willing to give up some speed he could be the ultimate boxer.

A balanced fighter can be beaten though. Someone who is quick, with good power, good defense, good etc. etc. will be beaten by someone who is lightning quick with excellent defense, even if they can't knock somone out to save their life.
