DLH is lame, what a lame thing to tell the media, even if was true, you still wouldn't say that ****. Why does she care so much???

Well who is he going to fight then, if he won't fight Floyd again?? If Floyd, due to so miracle can't beat Hatton, then DLH sure as hell won't be able to.

He'll be so much older with yet another year of inactivity. He should fight Forrest.

True Ultimate, he should fight at least a tune up in Dec or something, just like he should have after he beat Mayorga.

But Oscar only wants to be in the biggest fight or the year.

Dela Hoya never considered fighting Vernon forrest, who now holds the WBC 154lbs title, not even winky wright, he's going back further down to 147 to avoid the two men who beat Mosley twice, who beat him twice.

He just wants to fight Hatton. If Hatton beats Mayweather, the fight will be announced within the next week. If not Cotto, who is he going to fight? Out of the top dogs, Hatton is the only guy left. Unless he wants to take on the Cintron, Williams, Margarito type guys, which I seriously doubt.

"Nothing is set in stone about who I'm going to fight," De La Hoya said "I won't decide who I am going to fight until I see how things unfold [in the fall], but I will be back at welterweight, that's for sure. I can make the weight no problem, easy. And I think because of the names in the division, the matchups."

                1) If Oscar can make 147 so easily, why did he insist that the Mayweather fight must be at 154?

                2) If any of you guys believe that "my wife doesn't want me to fight Puerto Ricans" bull****, then I have a bridge that i'd like to sell you.

He wants to fight Hatton win or lose. As long as Hatton doesn't lose in a Gatti-like fashion.

It is Oscar's pattern to go fight a guy who was already exposed by one of his rivals.

See: Vargas & Mayorga et al.

I think he fights Hatton AND Cotto next year.

I think Floyd is going to get all he wants from Hatton, probably still win, but be smart and at least take all of '08 off to decide what he wants to do.
