yea its a very smart investment.
The fight itself promises something spectacular. Whether it be a 5 round destruction by either fighter, a brilliant shutout, or an all out war, somebodies stock is skyrocketing. And that allows for great PPV numbers for other fightsComment

lately they have really been mixing up the styles for each COUNTDOWN.
Like Cotto-Judah was all rock'n'roll stuff and all towards action. Then in Hopkins-Wright you ahd the violin and all towards technique and smarts. I loved that one.
I wonder what they will do for PAVLIK-TAYLORComment

By the way, for everyone who loves countdowns, someone just posted De La Hoya-Mayorga's countdown in the video trading block. I can't imagine that it is anything less than the best countdown ever.lately they have really been mixing up the styles for each COUNTDOWN.

I think it weren't for Taylor's performance against Spinks, this would have been PPV. Taylor's financial loss is our gain.Comment

Taylor hasn't had a pay-per-view fight since Hopkins... I think he hasn't proven himself as a financial attraction yet, otherwise he would be doing PPVs exclusively. If he beats Pavlik pretty decisively, then he just might be bumped up to a PPV attraction.
Anyways, who the **** knows who Kelly Pavlik is, other than hardcore boxing fans? No one, that PPV probably wouldn't sell all that well except for to the hardcore fans. The casual fans probably wouldn't buy it.Comment
