Roy Jones was not that much smaller then Ruiz and his punch was hard enough to make Ruiz cautious.
We are talking about the guy who is likely to weight something like 70 pounds less (taking into accaunt that average HW is 220+ 6.2) and 6 inches shorter.
And the guy who lost his punch something like 2 division before.
He still did what Mayweather and who every small would do.He rarely got hit by Ruiz.Im sure Mayweather could be in the same boat.Of course 50lbs heavier.
Floyd Mayweather and Cory Spinks no. There the weight difference would be too much, because they could be easily knocked off balance by the bigger guy. When you are off balance, the defence and slick boxing goes away. A really good light heavyweight or maybe even someone who is a supermiddleweight could do it. Also, you say heavyweight. How big a heavyweight? Are we talking a 250 lber, or a 205 lber?
I'm a heavyweight and I've sparred with lighter fighters and some of them have given me some trouble, so it is possible. When your talking Spinks or Mayweather the size difference is too big. Spinks is a natural 147 lber and Mayweather is probably naturally about 140.

Not a ****** question at all, bro. I call it "Fantasy Boxing" and I make matchups like this in my head all the time!
Come on, now, seriously.
How many of us can't say that they wouldn't LOVE to watch that little ball of fire Jorge Arce try to take down fat ass Rid**** Bowe? It'd be great!
Haha, yeah, fantasy matchups are great, I just thought I would get called dumb because I really have been struggling to figure out how scenario like this would play out.
