well on paper it look good but sometimes the most important thing about a trainer is someone who develop an understanding between both of them. So this is another thing instead of learning something they would have more time in trying to understand each other.

I'd rather be a "winning" trainer. Roach whispering lovingly in Oscar's ear during The World Awaits was not impressive to me.

as well as the connection between Roger-Floyd jr as well as Winky-Birmingham is simily cant be replaced.

winning isnt everything in life, there is more into it.

both mayweathers are good trainers, i like Roger more though, when Floyd was trying to get deffensive vs Judha and Sharmba, Roger told him to pressure them and they folded....and yes DLH wouldve done better vs Floyd with the predator....Roach ****** that night...

PC: What are your thoughts on Lil' Floyd doing the Dancing with the Stars taping while training for Hatton?

FM: I thought that was going to be next year? He's fighting Hatton in December.

PC: I think he will be taping during preparations for Hatton and it may not air until next year.

FM: Honestly man, from what I've seen of Ricky Hatton. People saying because he knocked out Castillo and Lil' Floyd didn't…Lil' Floyd beat Castillo in two fights. Lil' Floyd hasn't done nothing but enhance his game since he's been fighting. Lil' Floyd enhanced his game off of his own ability. It doesn't have nothing to do with no training. He's in a spot now where he makes his own thing happen. It's not about nobody training him. Ricky Hatton aint nobody. You could whoop Ricky Hatton, ****. Ricky Hatton is another Gatti, but Gatti is just a little better. Gatti's just better, that's all. Same ****.

This is the same guy that said Anthony Hanshaw was going to beat Roy Jones. Take what he says with a grain of salt...he is Floyd's FATHER after all..

For the past few years, Floyd has been fighting 2x per year. From a conditioning standpoint, Lil' Floyd is very self-motivated.

I give Roger credit. Because he has always laid out the winning gameplan. For the Judah bout, PBF came back to the corner and Raj kept telling him to "pressure, pressure, pressure" and to "stick to the plan". That was perfect.

I agree with you. I honestly think Roger is one of the best trainers in the sport. He is probably training some young kids or some young prospects that the media is talking about. Maybe that kid that Floyd Mayweather was talking about Roger is taking under his wing. Who knows. Roger is a great trainer, in my opinion.

It's like this... most trainers are realistic in their interviews and SOMETIMES Sr. is but when he isn't it is really blatant. I make comments wheni see something I disagree with, just like ALL OF US ON HERE. The fact that I am a trainer myself doesnt mean I am any differentthanany of you when it comes to me wanting to comment when I see fit. As far as this debate goes.. Roger is betetr, Floyd is better etc..its POINTLESS.... people say one or the other is better when they have no real and true insight. How can someone say Sr. is betterthan Roger and really give an informed opinion if they they havent been in the gym with both of them and seen them work and know what, if any, real influence each guy has had on their guys? Maybe Sr is better, who knows. But the fact is that he trained Chad for only afew weeks when Chad beat Adamek and Chad to me looked the same as he always did. And Sr. talked all that stuff about RJ being old, washed up, getting KO'd etc with Hanshaw and yet RJ did his thing that night. But nobody even mentioned it. Funny how that is

thanks good i never said this trainer is better but i saying each trainer has some better chemsitry with certian fighters. there is no trainer better than other trainer it just opion and what people feel comfotable with.
