wtf are you talking about Bernard needs to keep Evander off with punches? Bernard doesnt do that ****...he runs away or clinches. his whole strategy is to fight way in or way out and break you down with cheap shots.

guys, this is not the Holyfield of the Rid**** Bowe fights, this is the Holyfield that got the **** kicked out of him by the light punching James Toney...and Bernard is much larger framed than Toney, and imo could get to heavyweight and still be in good shape.

I remember when there was talk about Bernard fighting Maskaev, and more people were picking Bernard then than now it seems...
bernard hits harder then people think.. but i think toney is a better fighter

I think so too, but if Toney can demolish this version of Holyfield, Im pretty sure that crafty ass Hopkins can eek a decision out of him too. Especially as Hopkins has always been in WAY better shape than Toney and is better built to fight HW than him.

Anyone know what the punch stats were for Holyfield's last fight?

Correction, Toney beat the Holyfield version that was still having problems with his shoulder and his hepatitis... If Toney and Holyfield would square off again it would be a totally different battle.

          Holyman would decapitate Nard

ppl who pick Hopkins over Holyfield are idiots.

The Holyfield that fought Toney was an injured Holy like Mamaduck said.

Holy would overpower B-hop wear him down and prolly KO him.

Bernard has been facing smaller guys his whole career (exception tarver) he would get whooped by a real heavy like holyfield.

Holyfeild would dominate. hes way to big for Hopkins. Hopkins should not fight at heavyweight.

thats exactly right! when Holyfeild fought Toney, he was still having those conditioning problems and other problems as well. Holyfeild owned toney in the first round but he ran out of gas. if he had the conditioning he has now back when he fought Toney, he would have dominated.
