I think it has nothing to do with that. You have to remember that Cotto is a Top Rank fighter and I am almost positive that if Cotto beats Mosley he probably won't fight mayweather. Mayweather wants nothing to do with Arum and I can't really see them doing business together. Also Floyd will make at the least 15 mil to fight shane and that's just the purse which is much more than he would make fighting Cotto. Over the years I never saw Floyd as the type of person who cared who he fought but was mostly driven by who would get him more money.

Additionally, Cotto hasn't shown an ability to sell a fight. His PPV nums are weak. Once not his fault. Once TOTALLY his fault.
