I don't think Jhonny was throwing his best shots during the fight. You could tell right off the bat that he was just throwing arm punches to pick up points and win the rounds. Probably trying to conserve energy 'cause of the weight issues. So I don't think we saw Jhonny's strongest shots against Penalosa.

Anyway, Gerry is one tought SOB, and I think Ponce de Leon will have to throw a lot of shots to win another UD...but it'll be interesting to see how Gerry reacts if this time he does get nailed with those bombs that Daniel throws!

i think Gerry's style makes other fighters hesitate to throw bombs, ponce de leon IS a BIG BOMBER but he ended up pitty patting his way to winning the decision over penalosa ...

Johhny on the other hand was throwing good shot (maybe not his best but still good shots) and i am sure their were a lot of them that hit the mark on penalosa ...

gerrys sums up both fighters: Gonzalez is the better fighter but Ponce de Leon hits Harder
