You dont have to beat everyone down in your division to be a great. Jumping weightclasses and being successful at it could make you a great.

I thought you were someone who didn't think Floyd was very good... I can't remember.

Anyways, I guess the second part of your post definately makes Mayweather a great then. I mean, he is 38-0 and has won titles in 5 weight classes, including The Ring belt in 2 weight classes, 135 and 147 (although he should have had it at 130, but The Ring wasn't recognizing that weight class at the time for some reason).

The problem lies with what peoples perception of Greatness is.
If Chavez Jnr retired now, someone ****head would call him great.

I think if Floyd cleans up against Hatton, Mosley and/or Cotto then beats Vernon Forrest, you have to look towards him hitting legend status pretty much as soon as he packs in.
